Black & White or Color

The Benedictine monastery of Ripoll was founded in the ninth century. Successive extensions were added up until the twelfth century.

It soon became a major cultural centre during the High Middle Ages, which is why it was extended up until the twelfth century, when it ended up more or less as it looks today.
